Four New Kawasaki Bikes to hit Indian Market soon.

Kawasaki has Unveiled their new bikes at the INTERMOT 2016. Kawasaki to soon launch 4 new models into the Indian market in 2017. Here are the detailed view on the latest bikes.

 

Kawasaki Ninja 650 2017.

The Kawasaki New Ninja 650 (2017) a successor to the older Ninja 650 Unveiled at INTERMOT 2016. The all new 2017 Ninja 650 carries an updated design which looks more sharper than the 2016 Ninja 650. The next gen Ninja 650 is now sharper and more effective than its older design. It carries loads of improvements, first being a reduction in weight to just 193 kg. It even now seems to be a much closer sibling to the Beast Ninja 1000 than before.

 
The all new Ninja carries a whole new rear design with a raised rear compared to the older version. The new nose is much sharper than the older edition while the headlight looks more like the race inspired ZX series. The newly designed fairing looks more lighter and aerodynamic. The handlebar is still raised, allowing both sporty and tourer much more relaxed and comfortable rides on the motorcycle. The windscreen can be manually adjusted at three different levels for comfortable ride.

 
Ninja 650 is powered by a 649cc 4-stroke parallel twin, Liquid-cooled engine which produced Maximum power of 67.2 Bhp at 8000rpm by Euro 4 complaint engine, which now produces 2 PS less power than the currently selling version. The newer version weighs 18kgs less than the older version at 193kgs which literally makes less power unrecognizable. The fuel tank has also been reduced by 2 liters and thus the new Ninja 650 has just 15 liters of fuel holding capacity. The Ninja 650 is fitted with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission with Wet multi-disc.
The Ninja 650 produces a maximum torque of 65.7 Nm. The 2017 model is equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).

Overview 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is the most impressive twin cylinder offering from the Japanese manufacturer when compared in terms of value and performance. It comes with the same 649 cc engine (now Euro4 compliant) producing 67.2 BHP and 65.7 Nm of torque. Kawasaki Z650

Apart from the Ninja 650, Kawasaki also announced the all new Z650. Kawasaki Z650 is a new entry into the Kawasaki lineup, developed with the same frame and body panels as 2017 Ninja 650 and ready to succeed the aged Er-6n in most markets. The All new Ninja Z650 is a replacement of ER-6N bike. The Z650 has a whole new design inspired from Z1000 which is a excellent looking street bike, carrying the familiar Z series design and better dynamics than ever. The Z650 weighs 17 kilos lesser than the ER6N at 187kg.

 
Kawasaki claims a mileage of 23.25 Km per litre. The Tank capacity is lowered by 1L than its predecessor with 15L capacity. The New Z650 share the same Engine configuration as the New Ninja 650 2017, with 649cc 4-stroke parallel twin, Liquid-cooled engine which produced Maximum power of 67.2 Bhp at 8000rpm by Euro 4 complaint engine. The new motorcycle is also more fuel efficient by 6.8 per cent. The Z650 is fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission with Assist & Slipper Clutch whereas, Ninja 650 houses Wet multi-disc Clutch.

Kawasaki has not announced anything regarding the official launch of Z650 in India, the bike is expected to be launched in India by mid-2017.

Kawasaki Z900

Kawasaki Z900 is the upcoming street bike sensation, Z900 was unvelied along with Z650 and Ninja 650, The Z900 is all set to replace the Z800 in Kawasaki Market. The motorcycle features an all new ultra light weight chassis. The new Z900 weighs 20 kilograms lesser then its predecessor at 210kgs.

 
The Z900 is powered by 948cc In-Line 4-stroke Liquid-cooled engine producing a maximum power of 125 Bhp @ 9500 rpm, and producing maximum torque of 98.6 Nm at 7700rpm. The Z900 is fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission with Assist & Slipper Clutch.

 
The motorcycle also gets 41mm upside down forks for better rebound and preload at the front and horizontally mounted shock with rebound and pre-load adjustability at the rear. The Z900 has a fuel capacity of 17 Liters. The Z900 has a 4-into-1-pre-chamber-into-silencer layout exhaust.

Overview Kawasaki Z900 is the upcoming street bike sensation, most probably made to replace the Z800 in all major markets of Kawasaki. The 948cc engine has been specially designed for a naked bike and produces mouth watering 125 PS of maximum power. Z900 weighs just 210 kg and comes with a rider friendly 795 mm of seat height. Kawasaki W800 Final Edition.

Kawasaki W800 Final Edition is the next expected retro modern bike for India. It is one of the most efficient motorcycles of its class and this would be the last production version for the W800. Kawasaki W800 is all set to enter the indian market soon. Kawasaki W800 was unveiled at the INTERMOT 2016. along with the Z650, Z900 and Ninja 650. This W800 will be the first of its kind retro modern machine to enter the Indian Market. Currently, display models are present at the Kawasaki showrooms to take the customer reactions.

 
The Kawasaki W800 is power by a 773cc 4-stroke Vertical Twin Air-Cooled Engine. delivering Maximum power of 47.3 Bhp at 6500 rpm, producing maximum torgue of 60 nm at 2500 rpm. The W800 is fitted with a 5-speed manual transmission with Wet multi-disc Clutch.
The W800 comes with a classic round headlamp, teardrop shaped fuel tank, ribbed seats and chrome dipped fenders and mirrors.

Overview Kawasaki W800 Final Edition is the next expected retro modern bike for India. It is one of the most efficient motorcycles of its class and this would be the last production version for the W800. It is Euro 3 compliant and won’t be on sale after March 2017. Kawasaki has displayed the standard version of W800 at an Indian dealership while it is also expected that few units of the final edition would be brought to India in the coming days. It comes with a 773 cc, Vertical Twin engine producing 47.3 BHP at 6500 rpm and 60 Nm at 2500 rpm. It uses a 5-speed gearbox and rivals Triumph Bonneville range in the country. If brought via CBU route, it could cost around INR 6.5-7.5 lakh. Kawasaki can even consider it to be a CKD, pricing it around the range of Harley Davidson Street 750 at INR 5 lakh.
